I just left a comment on someone's photo that a Hobbit lived in the in-hill dwelling he posted then came here. Too funny. I am going on a vacation for a few days and am spending most of it in the woods. Your photo makes me want to be there now. Lovely!
Kay: Have a wonderful vacation, Mary! Take some pictures, please grin
A leafy green paradise. Yes, I can imagine hobbits trekking through.
Kay: Thank you, Red Pen!

Kay: Thank you so kindly, Ginnie!
lucky hobbits. Lovely shot. It's so soft and mossy.
Kay: Thank you, Gail smile

Looks inviting but eerie.
Kay: I know what you mean. You can either be in love with the forest, or scared of what/who may lurk under the trees. (I've been lost in a forest before, so I can understand your comment!)

I think I see Frodo! I wonder how many different shades of green there are in this photo!? Awesome!
Kay: Thank you very much, Helen!
This is going in my Likeys. The light and colour is superb
Kay: Wow, what an honor, Bill. You just made my day! Thank you!

Not to forget the fae, even if all that stuff is up my street smile Imagining little people and such is not cut out for me - if it was I would have written books about it and become filthy rich and buy myself a couple of seriously good Canons and glassware smile

But I love nature and actively will seek opportunities to immerge myself there. There are enough real stuff, including major dramas when you take care and observe.

That is what I see in these woodlands pictures of yours. Nature and the opportunity to explore and open up all the senses. A long way to say - excellent picture and enjoy your weekend as well.
Kay: smile Sincere thanks for a wonderful comment, Louis. The only thing missing is the scent of the plants in the woods after a rain storm. I am very honored and happy that you like these pictures. I will try my hardest to take more of these kind for you. smile
Es cierto, Kay, esta foto nos adentra en un mundo de fantasía. Aprovechemos esta fantasía para disfrutar del fin de semana! Buen Finde!

It is certain, Kay, this photo enters to us in a fantasy world. Let us take advantage of this fantasy to enjoy the weekend! Good WE!
Kay: Muchas gracias, Jose! Buen Finde!
It sure has that Lord of the Rings feel
Kay: Thank you Chantal. It does, doesn't it?

LOL Kay I was watching a TV programme last night and they were talking about hobits and such like. Spooky your post should mention them today. Love the shot smile
Kay: grin Thank you, Tracy! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Mine starts in about an hour wink
I am loving your PP here, nice work
Kay: Thank you so kindly, Dotun!
Well, there is a little hobbit in the right hand but he's green and a bit out of focus. I see also a princess (but green because now she's a frog) and a witch broom (but uyou can't see it very well because of the tree)
A beautiful shot Bilbo smile smile smile
Kay: Thank you, Zeb! I love your imagination. I can see it all in the picture!

That is the perfect title for this shot. It looks cool and fresh. The overgrown trail leads the eye into the picture. Nicely put together, Kay!
Kay: Thank you so much, Martin! This is actually one of my favorites of the photos I've posted so far.

You continue to inspire me with your processing. It's a winning formula and I'm really quite envious of your skill in both this department and the initial capture. Your images are simple but interestingly composed.
Kay: Colin, You are so nice! Really, I can send you the actions if you'd like. I didn't create them, they were offered as a free download at action central. While I understand how to use PS, there is a lot more to learn! Thank you for your very kind comment!

Wow! You mean this is middle-earth? smile

Lovely PP here. I like this capture. I'd be on the lookout for snakes, though, not hobbits!
Kay: Ooh Bisola, Snakes and I do not get along! I've had too many encounters with rattle snakes when I used to live near Yosemite Nat'l Park (as a child).
surely they do reside here. has a magical feel about it smile
Kay: Ah, thank you so much!
Love the name! It's very mysterious looking!
Oh Kay! This is so lovely...the lighting, the composition - it's so magical smile
