I like this one, would have loved to see the top though.
Kay: Hi Dotun,
Yeah, I know what you mean. I cropped the top a little tight...I believe that the very top of the building is what you see here. I'll have to go back to the original. Thanks for visiting, and for your good comment!

Ooh, one of those balconies, a pot of Earl grey and some Victoria sponge cake, and I'd be very content looking out over the waterfront smile

Such a striking photograph, filled with marvellous textures and shadow play. Superb
Kay: Paul, you put it perfectly. I could definitely see you doing all of that. In fact, I would welcome a good cup of Earl grey there are anywhere, for that matter!!

Impressive buildings, love the composition, great play of lines, would not mind to have the top right apartment, I always liked a room with a view wink
Kay: Hi Astrid, I agree with you. A room with a view from the top...now what a view that would make! ;-)
An impressive structure of houses, offices, concrete and steel. I believe that the tonality of the sun of behind schedule can be appreciated!
Kay: Muchas gracias, Jose Angel!
That's one hell of a building complex ;-)
Kay: It is, isn't it Mark?

I bet they have a fabulous view. Looking at this makes me think of all those unknown lives going on behind the windows! Good shot.
Kay: Ingrid, I love your imagination and your way of thinking. Thank you for your wonderful comment!

I like the light and shadows in this, perfect time of the day to shoot this!
Kay: Thank you SuRi! Yes, it was the late afternoon. And in the Northwest, during this time of year, the sun doesn't start to set until after 8:30 p.m. It's so unreal! At 10:00 p.m., the light is fading fast, but it's not pitch dark.
Wow - I wonder how many people live here?
Kay: I know what you mean, Chris. You wonder who lives here, and how they can afford it! These are very expensive homes. Thanks for your comment!
Kay, this shot is stunning. The architecture and the way you framed this shot is simply outstanding. The lines and patterns are captivating, great job!
Kay: Ahh, thanks John! I love your comment. Thank you!
So where are Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan?...I confess I loved that film!!

Great shot Kay
Kay: Hi Bill, I have a picture of the floating house where the film was shot. I'll post it soon. It will be for you. Thanks!

Those buildings are really stacked in Kay. Love the lighting.
Kay: Thanks, Aussie!

Kay: Ha! They were both lucky shots, because I didn't think. I just picked up the camera and took as many pictures as I could without stopping. smile But I appreciate your comment!

Wow! A fabulous view, kay and not something that features in the tourist guide books. I like the lighting in this very much.

I'm in Vancouver towards the end of September and am still wondering about coming down into Seattle again.
Kay: Thank you, Alan! I hope you're having a wonderful time in Vancouver. The weather's been pretty nice lately in the NW, so I'm sure you've seen a few sunny days up there. Supposed to be close to 90 degrees this coming weekend, so keep it cool! Enjoy your time in the States.,
