photoblog image a flower for you

a flower for you

I'm back...thank you all for your comments!  I hope everyone is doing well.  I've taken so many pictures in the past month.  They include some aerial shots of the Cascades (with lots of snow), garden flowers from parks around the Pacific Northwest, and more.

If you want to see a slideshow of some of my cascade pics, please visit this web site:

http://kaymartin.net/sunriver/slideshow/index.html

There is music involved, so be prepared.  Click the right facing arrow in the controls to start the slideshow. I appologize in advance for any dust or window spots I may have missed. (I was shooting through the windows of a Comanchee 250 plane.)

It's good to see you back, Kay. I always miss you when you're gone. I'm sure you've got some real treats waiting or us, like this flower.
Kay: Hi Ginnie! I miss you too. And I'm glad to be back.

Sounds like you had quite the adventure. Welcome back!
Kay: Thank you Martin! I've had a few of them, but ready for more rollercoaster rides as long as they turn out well!

Some kind of an iris?

Shucks that must have been nice again in the plane with the camera.
Kay: Louis,
It's always fun to fly...more fun if I have a camera with me. smile I think you would totally understand that! And yes, this is an iris of some sort.
