Are you flying again, Kay? smile

Believe it or not, we're actually FINALLY getting rain here in Georgia. We still need a lot more but we're moving in the right direction again. You have enough to give some away. I hope you don't drown!

As always, you have worked your blurring magic...and your greens.
Kay: Ginnie, so glad to hear it's raining down South. Whew! That's great. Hope it keeps up.
Yep, I am flying again. Went up in the sky a couple of weeks ago, after a huge storm. I am so lucky to be able to do this...I don't take any opportunity for granted!
I see you are back to your old ways. This still works just as well as it did before smile
Kay: wink Yep, Martin. I've got the flying bug, and taking pictures while up in the air is so fun. I'm flying to Hawaii next week for a short vacation. I hope to be able to get some coastal shots.
Beautiful as ever, Kay.
Kay: Thank you, Bridge!

Gorgeous shades of green! I can't wait to get to Oregon!
Kay: It will be nice to have you up here, Helen. Unfortunately, by that time, I may be out in Austin, Texas. So I need to get in all the "tall tree" shots I can while I'm here. smile

Mystical feel to the shot. I think it would look amazing to crop out the top half and leave it a little less obvious where the setting is.
What a wonderful bird's-eye view. Great green tones here!

Well Kay - from reading the comments you are well known for your photos from planes. I can see why. This is a wonderful capture! How lucky you are to enjoy flying and capturing these moments. Take care and I look forward to future views from above. Again - this is a great image!

You have everything there in Oregon, even rice paddies.

Great picture and conversion. The picture is about the hue of green I am from not having flying photographic safari's smile
Thats a lot of water - like rain we had here ten days ago. Mice to have this bird's eye view.

So green and wet it could almost be Englandwink
Kay: smile I wish it was England! My mom's side of the family is from Great Britain. Perhaps one day I can visit. smile
Very nice indeed Kay. Treatment looks a bit like what I do with some of my landscapes...I'm on the ground when I take mine thoughsmile
Kay: Hi Bill. Thanks! If you look through my photos, this is a common treatment of mine. smile It's nice to know I'm not the only one on SC!
We're planning our next US trip now; it's a toss-up between Oregon and Texas at the moment, but we may throw the Great Lakes into the pool too.

If my wife and her sister see all this water from all that rain, it'll definitely be Texas!

(But I've just bookmarked your Mount Hood shot in support of my preference to do Oregon).

Have you "Ortoned" this, Kay?
Kay: Sounds like you'll be going on a grand adventure, Colin. Re: Oregon, if you come here in the Spring or Summer, it's quite nice. Of course the rain comes and goes, but this state is simply beautiful. Everything is blooming and growing.
This treatment is similar to the Orton type processing, so I guess you could say, "Yes"!
Looks good Kay, like the way you have processed this, and a splendid view from the air.
Kay: Thank you so much, Les!
Like it very much Kay, clever processing too !
Kay: Zeb, thanks for being so kind!
