photoblog image forest of ice, January 2008

forest of ice, January 2008

Today's picture was taken at the Multnomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge.  I took a picture in this very same area last May.  The logs are positioned differently, no doubt due to the strong storms we've had this past season.

It looks like it is just about ready to start snowing. It is strange to see this with the temps here in the 70s.
There's a dreamy feel to this image, Kay...like it a lot.

Lovely capture Kay, surreal as I sit here in a very humid, wet atmosphere.
Excellent composition Kay. We can feel the icy cold atmosphere!

I can feel the cold radiating off my computer screen. This is real `winter`. Lovely capture, Kay. (:o)

wonderful winter scene Kaysmile and the composition is tops.
Lovely shot Kay...so wintry!
Wow! It is incredible! Thank you very much to include the Link to be able to see the two images. Without a doubt the climate is totally different. One spring green and placid against a very hard winter.
