I like how you worked the contrast to structure the shot. Looks very good!
Kay: Thank you very much, Martin! I cropped it down to bring more focus onto the trees.
This has an air of lonesome beauty and timelessness.
Kay: Thank you, Red Pen!

It's gorgeous, Kay!
Kay: Ginnie, you always say the nicest things! Thanks! You know I'm a big fan of your blog too.
I like this "slice" of a very large landscape! It sharpens our vision of the scene...and is that a bird perched on top of the tallest tree just right-of-center? I wouldn't have noticed it if you had presented this full-screen!
Kay: You won't believe this, Patrushka, but I didn't even notice that bird until you pointed him out to me. Wow. LOL! thank you!

Excellent composition and dark/light contrasting. The coral of tress with the eagle (my guess) on top form an interesting foreground.
Kay: Thank you, Louis! I really appreciate your feedback.

Just a wonderful composition. Great contrast here!
Kay: Your comment is so nice, Richard. Thank you!
I agree with Patrushka, Kay. This letterbox crop of a much bigger landscape really allows you to concentrate and enjoy the detail. Super stuff! (:o)
Kay: Thank you so much, Roz!!!

don't know about ring of trees, reminds me of Lord of the Ringssmile superb scene with a great crop well done Kay.
Kay: Thanks, Tim! Thank you so much for your comment smile
The sky is so bright white it detracts from the wonderful foreground. I think you could go for an even narrower crop, or darken the sky a bit. It's a great image.
Kay: Thank you for your comments, Bill. The exposure was limited, but I appreciate your advice. Will have to remember it for next time!

I love the panoramic view, the trees on the foreground just give the picture the depth, I like this one very much, I came across your blog, I am impressed by what I see.

Very nicely done, Kay.

A very wintry scene. It suits the panoramic crop very well. I love the subtle colouring and the hazy bands of mist.
Kay: Thank you so very much! I cropped it down for that very focus, including the trees. smile

Very nice framing of this panorama. The combo of snow and clouds makes it seem so peaceful and isolated.
Kay: Thank you, Jewlya. I really appreciate your kind words!
