i like your isolation of this mountain detail Kay. Snow is difficult to get the exposure right when so much of it dominates the scene, great job here. mal
Kay: Mal, Thank you. smile

Looks cold and remote, just the way a mountain scene is supposed to.
Kay: Thank you Martin! It is cold and remote!!! But it's only about 40 min. from Portland. smile
Wow! That looks like it's very high up there.
Kay: Hi Mary,
Yes it is very high. The mountains tower above the highway, as do the trees! Thank you!

It looks like that may be a skiing area, Kay, and if so, what a view! I love how you have framed this for the white page. It's idyllic.
Kay: Ginnie, there is a ski area not too far away from here. Actually, there are a few...at Mt Hood! Good call! Thank you again for your comments!
Great control of the light here! Well done
Kay: Your comments are so welcome, Richard. I love each of them. Thank you!

Beautiful. Are you flying or just on a higher point?
Kay: Hi Louis, nope I wasn't flying. We were at a higher point with a good view!

This has the feel of a very old picture and I love it.
Kay: I'm so glad you liked it, Bill! Most of the snow has melted by now. But I loved the view when I saw it.
Just like the hills around here Kay, and I don't think, has a bit of a mystical feel to it for me, well seen.
Kay: Thank you very much, Les! Is there still snow on the hills where you are?

I like how soft the scene is, it is the visual equivalent of the quiet that happens when a blanket of snow falls over a landscape.
Kay: Thank you, Jewlya. I love your comment. It's pure poetry.

It's beautiful, and it looks as if it's snowing hard.
Kay: It was snowing alot that week, Ellie. It was very pretty, but it was hard to drive in.
Impressive snow weather. I like since you have framed the image!
Kay: Thank you, Jose! I love how your images are framed too! Gracias!
