Lovely. It looks like silk pouring down.
Kay: Thank you, Red Pen! I took several shots with varying shutterspeeds. This one came out the best.
You used an excellent shutter speed here. It blurred the water sufficiently to great teh feel of motion. Nice job.
Kay: Thank you very much for your feedback. This is one of the few that I can be proud of, I must say!

Handheld? I like your choice of shutter speed.
Kay: Hi Martin, Yes, this was handheld. It was very cold outside (in the high 30's) and my hands were almost numb. Of course, I forgot to bring my gloves.

This is really beautiful, Kay. I love the various degrees of blur as my eye travels all the way down your photo. Definitely a likey. Really, really well done!
Kay: Thank you so much, Suzanne. I am honored that you like this one. Truly. And what an honor to have a likey in your collection!! Wow!
Great choice of shutter speed. Well done

Super and going to my likey gallery.
Kay: Wow, Louis. I am deeply honored that you like this one. Thank you so much. Sorry I"ve not been around lately to post comments. There's a bad cold and flu that's been rotating around the office. And of course, I had to get it.

Kay I can hear the water, it's a great shot and the processing is just spot on.smile
Kay: Thank you so much, Tracy.
Well done! Kay!
Kay: Muchas gracias, Jose-Angel!
This is really beautiful, and I am determined to master the technique. If I ever come up with one as good as this, I`ll put it up here in an instant! Gorgeous, Kay. (:o)
Kay: Rosalyn, I shot this at a 1/13 shutterspeed. I have an image stabilizer lens, so it helped alot (I don't have a tripod yet). Thank you for your comment!

Nice capture of the movement here - enough blur for the liveliness of the water to be seen, but not so much that it loses its roughness.
Kay: Thank you, Jewlya! I'm glad you like this one smile It was taken near the pond where I found the blue heron. (prior post)

You've caught the different qualities of the water beautifully Kay. Quite magical.
Kay: Hi Jose-Ann, Glad you like this one. It was taken on a cloudy cold day. My fingers were almost numb, so this shot was pure luck! Thanks again!
