photoblog image how to make your truck taller

how to make your truck taller

This is an example of how much snow we had up in the Cascades in late December.  As of New Years (when this picture was taken), we've had another foot of snow.

I live two hours away near Portland.  We don't get that much snow here.

lol, I love that these people didn't bother to knock the snow off. What a great statement on living with intense winters!
Kay: I guess they must be used to it, Jewelya! Thanks for your comment!

I'd hate to think about what will happen when he brakes! Visibility will become very limited smile
Kay: LOL! Martin, you are so funny! Thanks for sharing your humor. Come to think of it, the snow did bounce around on top of this guy's truck. I was waiting to see if it would fall off.
LOL!! That is a lot of snow..can't help but wonder how long that Toyoto took to collect all that white stuff. Not much snow here. I heard today that it's 60F in Toronto where it's usually very cold at this time of year. Crazy!
Kay: Hi Suzanne, wow, it is warm in Toronto. Not so here in Portland...in the low 40's, high 30's. Hope you are doing well! I loved your photo from yesterday. What a great shot!

lol... very funny wink
Kay: Hi Rafael. It is funny, isn't it? The truck looked a little strange with the snow wobbling around on top. Thanks for stopping by!

My guess, Kay, is that there's a luggage rack on top of this car, right? If not, the driver has a great sense of humor, showing off what he had collected. smile

Good eye for snatching this up for us. That's a lot of snow!
Kay: Hi Ginnie,
I am not sure about the luggage rack, but this car did sit for a while, that's evident. And the snow was wobbling around a lot. I was waiting to see if it would fall off the truck as the driver made his turns. No such luck! Thanks for you great comment, as always!

I live in a similar position. The wind blows from the snowy mountain which I can't even see and freezes up the area in winter. So we have the cold but not the snow.

That is a Toyota Hi-Ice
Kay: Ha! H1-Ice, that's a good one, Louis! Even the poor Hummers find it hard to stay on the roads. One of them hit a telephone pole and knocked it down...the driver hit some black ice and there he went. Thanks for your great comment!
Don't you think that this chap loaded his car's roof with so much snow to spread it in his garden! Nice capture Kay
Kay: Thank you for your comment, Richard! I think this guy is a local. Or he just likes to ski a lot. smile

It's amazing how far some people will go in winning the snowman comp!!tongue
Great eye Kay well donesmile
Kay: Why thank you Tracy! I need my eyes checked, but I'll take the complement all the same (LOL!!!)
Hi Kay, how you doing?, God we wish we had this sort of snow here in MK, can you send some our way grin
Kay: Hi S/S! I'll pack some snow up right now, and send some pigeons out there. They would probably get there faster than UPS or any of the airline carriers! Let see...you should be getting it sometime in the next week...or so! Hah!

In any case, I'm glad you stopped by. Good to hear from you!
Wow! That's a lot of snow Kay.
Kay: Hi Bernie! Yes, it is a lot of snow, and a lot more fell last night. I wonder what it looks like now!
nooooooo, this is incredible, this must be a live totyota advertisement smile I love the snow on the trees in the background, I think I am really in need of some snow soon, haven't done that in years
Kay: LOL!! Patrick, what a great comment! Thanks!
I can't really imagine a foot of snow falling. We would be cut off if there was a couple of inches!! Amazing!
Kay: It is amazing, Bill. It's like venturing into an enchanted forest of sorts. I love it.

That's an amazing amount of snow. I can't believe they drove off without removing it! It could topple off at any moment and obscure their view. Well spotted.

*chuckle out loud*

Yes, I did when the picture opened! That's some snowfall, but there has to be something underneath it, surely - but how does the snow stick to the sides?

I'm just going to have to show this to my kids when they get home from school - they'll laugh out loud and then say "Why can't we live where you get snow like that?"

What makes this for me is it's the only one; all the other vehicles have barely any in comparison. It's like, "Look at me, I'm Cool!", ha ha literally!
This is snow and not what we see here... when we can see it! wink
