This works very well compositionally, but it looks a bit washed out on this (uncalibrated) screen.
Kay: Too bad it looks that way, Martin! It looks great on my monitor wink
It's only washed out a little. Looks good. I like how you can see through the water.
Kay: Thank you, Gail!

Ohhh, Kay. Please send us your rain. We need it so desperately here in the south! Atlanta is parched. Well, at least our yard is! I find myself wanting to stick our my tongue in hopes of catching your drops here.
Kay: I am thinking raindrops in Atlanta right now, Ginnie! We got a little bit of rain this past weekend, but not much more than "a little bit". We'll send it your way. I could use a few more sunny days in the NW for photo shoots. Pretty soon that will be gone, and I'll be posting from my archives.
The light is perfect to see the rain drops. Lovely photo.
Kay: Thank you, Mary!
A very delicate photo - the interesting elements (the patterns on the water surface and the mud beneath) are subtle and lovely.
Kay: Thank you so much, Jewlya! Very nice comment!

I would name this shot Ring Around the Rain Drop. Beautiful!
Kay: Thank you, Helen! This is pretty much what you get up here in the long Winter months. If you are moving up here, be expecting that. But the Spring time is amazing!

And a little rain must fall, I think I stole that line. I love it, and it is not washed out on mine the reeds are perfect as are the drops.
Kay: Thanks so much Aussie! I was hoping someone would see that! smile

Great composition and picture. Love it.

I hope you had the umbrella up at the time.
Kay: grin Thanks, Louis! No umbrella. Luckily, it was just starting to rain as we were leaving the park. So I'm glad I got the shots of the first rain drops that day!

The water is so clear and adds more effect to your drops, also your greenery sets it off. Nice post Kay
Kay: Thank you, Tracy. I love your comment!

Love the raindrops in the pond and the light on the reeds.
Kay: Thank you very much, Ingrid!
Nice catch of the raindrops on the water surface. I'm also drawn to the crisp greens.
Kay: Thank you, Red Pen smile
