Oh my...look at that BEAK....I like the funny expression on the birdy :d
Kay: He was standing in some water, just about to catch a fish. I took another shot of him with the fish in his beak, but it was too blurry to post. sad
Want gorgeous colour. The composition is very well done.
Kay: Thank you, Michael! smile

Oh, Kay! I LOVE this! It looks like someone (besides God Almighty) has painted his beak! grin How cool.
Kay: Thanks, Ginnie! I think the colors on his beak confuse him smile LOL!
It looks strangely pensive for someone with such a colorful beak.
Kay: Hi Martin, Yes, he is looking for the fish he is about to catch in the stream below him! smile
Wow Kay, Fantastic capture.
Kay: Thank you very much, Aussie!
He may look cross - but he sure is hansome!

Ace capture Kay he/she almost looks like a statue.
Kay: Hi Tracy, This is actually the best picture I have of him. He kept moving around, trying to catch a fish.
Great capture Kay. Love the colours and your framing.
Kay: Thank you, Bridge! smile
He looks mighty pissed... am not going anywhere near this one! smile
Nice capture, it almost looks unreal.
Kay: He's a very tall bird, so I agree. I wouldn't go near him either!

A saddlebilled stork - and very obvious why it carries the name. I thought they are african birds and is somewhat surpised to see this picture.

Excellent picture.
Kay: Thank you, Louis. He's hanging out at the Oregon Zoo these days. Very tall bird; quite fascinating. Of course I forgot what the bird was called, and hoped that you could clear that up for me. Thank you!
Great image - he stands out really well against the background. Good use of DOF.
Ingrid
Kay: Thank you very much, Ingrid smile
