I've been corrected, and so I've corrected the title of this picture.  I thought it was Mt. St. Helens.  I was wrong!

OOoh, now I can't ever look at pictures of Mt St Helens without thinking of the eruption and wondering if it'll happen again. It looks so peaceful here.
Kay: OOps, Ellie! Thank you! I'm at work right now, and a colleague saw this picture. He says it's NOT Mt. St. Helens, but it's Mount Hood! Arrgh! Some day I'll get it right. Still a newbie up here.
This image has very dramatic and moody color.
Kay: Hi Red Pen, thank you for your comment. I aim to please! I try to take as many pictures of the mountain peaks here...don't know when I have to move away (long story).
This is lovely Kay. I like shots like this......
Kay: Thank you very much, Nacha. You always say the nicest things! smile

Whichever one it is, Kay, is gorgeous! I actually like the slight hint of the bridge and boats in the foreground, giving the mountain majesty.
Kay: Ginnie, thank you so much for the very nice comment. Have a great weekend!

captured in your recognisable style to Kay, super shot. mal
Kay: Mal, you are so kind! Thank you
I like the composition and especially how the bridge and the boats turned out, but on my screen the trees in the foreground are a little too dark.
Kay: I agree with you Martin. It is a little dark. Thank you for your constructive comment. Very welcomed.
WOW!...excellent stuff...
Kay: Gee, thanks Sam! smile You always say the nicest things!
Impressive. Still snow on it. For how many times ?...
Kay: Hi Florence. This picture was taken in April, so there was still a lot of snow on the mountain. I believe that snow stays on the mountain all year long, but a lot of it melts away. Hopefully then, they will find the missing hikers who lost their lives during Christmas time, but could not be found (blizzard/whiteout conditions). My thoughts are with their loved ones.

Not to worry, I wouldn't know Mt Helen from my uncle anyhow. But yes one would like to do the right thing I guess. Whichever, it is a beautiful mountain and a great picture.
Kay: Hi Louis, thank you very much LOL grin Great comment!

Kay: You are so kind, Zeb! Thank you!
