What lovely warm colours.
Kay: Thank you very much, Michael smile
this is a beautiful shot Kay.
Kay: Thank you for visiting my blog, and for all of your kind comments. They are appreciated smile
I haven't seen booms of pulpwood in the water for a long time. lots of interesting things in here.
Kay: LOL!! Is that what those things are in the water? I knew they were logs, but not sure what the actual terms are for them. (I came from a logging town, but you'd never know that) Thanks, Mary!
This is very nice, Kay! The warm colors really make that old factory look inviting.
Kay: Hi Martin,
Thank you so much. smile

There is so much to see in this pic, Kay! I could just sit here and stare at it. I especially like the reflection in the water on the right.

BTW, Ade has told me that she can't get the "insert link" to work on her site and I noticed that your link above isn't working either. Wonder what that's about?
Kay: Hi Ginnie,
Thank you so much for your comment. smile

lovely shot........ have a great weekend
Kay: Chantal, Have a great weekend as well. smile
Beautiful shot. I like the soft glow in this picture. Any particular processing you did?
Kay: Hi Anup, You know, I'd like to tell you what I did in post-processing, but I don't remember, to be honest. I did put a soft focus on it, and played with the curves. (Usual stuff) I will start writing it down in my notes. I'm glad you like this shot. smile

everything looks so still and nice, love the warmth of the oclours too
Kay: Thank you, Ellie! To be honest, I almost did not post this shot. It was, after all, a dirty building with a lot of debris in the water. But now I see it differently, thanks to you and others who have commented on the shot. smile
Kay, you have become my fave SC-er. And you're not even on the ground! This picture makes a smelly pulp mill look like a seaside resort.

Your shots bring me to a place that feels like a dream state, or a perfect world. Does medicine have a way to let me clone your eyes?
Please keep shooting so I can keep dreaming!

Your fan,
Erik
Kay: Hi Erik,
You have totally overwhelmed me with your comment. Really. Thank you so very much. I am still learning and there's so much to learn. To take better pictures, to experiment more, to sharpen. I don't think I've ever received a comment on my photos as nice as yours, and I gratefully accept it. Wow! Thank you so much! It made my whole day, week, month, and year! You are the best!!!
This is very artistic. Great Capture.
Kay: Thank you very much!
