I like that little boat. It makes the shot for me!
Kay: Thank you so much for your comment, Martin smile
Yes, the boat is great. Great composition.
Kay: Thank you Michael! I love your comments.
I like the misty feel of this shot.
Kay: Thank you, Dotun! wink
The placement of the boat is perfect. But the line of horizon at the middle of the frame.... I am not a big fan of that
Kay: Thank you Anup. I'm glad you speak your mind. So important to me, so that I can improve my skills. Thank you.
love the loneliness this sends out.

I have always been a fan of the misty, foggy, overcast days, Kay, because they're better for my skin and eyes...and often better for photos. I, too, like the boat exactly where it is. smile
Kay: Thank you so much, Ginnie! wink

I think i may have preferred a slightly tighter crop on top giving it the feeling of the top of a waterfall but i still like the richness of the brown tones.
Kay: Thank you, Nev smile I agree with you. That's a good idea.
Your pictures always make me wish I was in them. I like this one just as it is, misty and lovely!
Kay: DD, Thank you so much for your comments. You are so kind!

The boat on the left and what looks like another one on the right look to me as if they're about to go through a gap and into the unknown. Makes me think a bit of LOTR.

The river looks so huge!
Kay: Hi Ellie, Thank you. The Columbia river is huge. I was trying to convey that in the picture, so it worked!
