St. John's Bridge, Portland, OR

It was a very cloudy day, so opted to do some pp work.  Also, this bridge is a light shade of green.  Will post another picture of it in color in the future.

Per Wiki, "The St. Johns Bridge is a steel suspension bridge that spans the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon between the St. Johns neighborhood and the northwest industrial area around Linnton. It is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley and one of three public highway suspension bridges in Oregon."

I love suspension bridges, Kay, but they don't usually end up in a forest! What a wonder to behold. I suddenly am seeing a selective coloring of just the bridge (when the bug bites it really bites hard). grin
Kay: Hi Ginnie,
I thought about doing a selective coloring on the bridge, but the bridge's current shade of green is not complementary sad.
like the hazy glow a lot...well executed...
Kay: Thank you very much!

I've only been across one suspension bridge and that was in Colorado. This one is really nice. I love how it appears to be out in the middle of "nowhere" ;~wink
Kay: Hi Deb, Thank you again! There are lots of these types of bridges in Portland.
I like the treatment that you have given to the photo and the good explanations!
