photoblog image Tree Blossoms

Tree Blossoms

Earlier I posted a picture of the tree in front of my patio with yellow buds.  Well I wanted to show you what the tree looked like after the buds opened.  And today, I notice a lot of new green leaves on the tree.

I tried to post a link to the other picture, but when I tested the link, it did not work.  Which is insane, since I'm a web developer (that's one of my hats at work), and there is no reason for a bad link to occur when it's coded correctly!!!

So to see the earlier picture, please click on the photo archive link and view the thumbnail.  You can't miss it!

I remember that other photo well, Kay, and will post the link here for others! http://kay.shutterchance.com/photoblog/68819.htm

Both pics have had the exact same effect on me. I think it's the dark background that makes the branches and yellows so rich. This would have an entirely different feel if the background were a bright blue or white! RICH is the key word I would use for this pic. I love it.
Kay: Hi Ginnie, Thank you for posting the link. I wonder why it works for you? Perhaps it's my browser (Firefox)? Oh, I give up! I just appreciate your helpfulness very much! And of course, your comments. Always great, no, fantastic!
vraiment une très belle photo
Kay: Merci infiniment de vos commentaires ! smile
I don't normally like these kind of pictures, but somehow this one is rather pleasing, I don't know how, or why, but I really like it.

Maybe it's the depth, it sort of "draws you in."
Kay: Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you like this picture smile
