Williamette Falls at Oregon City

Willamette Falls, home of PGE's historic Sullivan Plant, is the only waterfall in Oregon large enough for commercial power production.  A fishway diverts upstream fish away from the powerhouse discharge and over the falls; it also houses a fish counter operated by the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Department.

Mt Hood is visible in the background.  One day I'll get some really good pictures of Mt Hood and post them here.

Kay: Hi Genevieve,
Thank you! I had to stand on top of a rock wall to take the shot. Lucky clumsy me did not fall over the edge! The things we do to take pictures!
Wow what an awesome shot!
Kay: Thank you so much! I was lucky. wink
