I'm not sure if you can tell by now, but I love trees.  Their different shapes, height, types of leaves and colors always amaze me.

You and I are definitely on the same page, Kay! I LOVE trees and this capture is spectacular. We saw Eucalyptus trees in California while we lived there for 12 years. I fell in love with them!

This tree looks like a "river redgum" so common along the rivers in Australia. You have captured it beautifully.
Kay: Thanks, Ray! Wow...I'll have to go to Australia one day. I'm wondering if the River Redgum tree is in the Eucalyptus family. Will have to look that one up. Thanks for sharing the information!

Hi Kay. yes...it is a eucalypt; one of several hundred that are native to Australia. The river redgum is one of the most attractive in my opinion.
By the way...I have never had such a quick response to a comment before. [grin]
Kay: wink See, it's a small world after all, Ray! And Eucalyptus trees are very prevalent in Southern California. No doubt they were imported, and not native to the region smile
