quack
I have to say this is one of my very favorites. I didn't have enough time to photoshop out that light spot (actually reflection from the water) under the duck's bill...so please be kind in your comments, thanks! This one is dedicated to my friend Christina, who is truly ducky :-)

No complaints from me. Kay. though I'm not sure I would have picked you as the "author" in a line-up!
Dont think I would have liked an extreme close up on my face but I love it on the little ducky.
That fits the Bill!
Light spot is no issue. Maybe lighten a little in the eye if possible. Give him/her some life. cheers Rob www.1ds.com
"who is truly ducky'...never heard that one
Superb picture, great B&W and those small droplets of water above the eye....just great.
Does he say "affleck"? Sorry, couldn't help myself. :o) This is an amazing close up and the image quality is outstanding.
Wonderful, Kay.. superb detail. It;s a pity that you can't see too much of the eye but the detail captured makes up for that.
Great closeup
Super shot Kay well done
Lovely Kay. A little more light in the eye would be even better for me.
Nice shot kay.
Great close-up Kay. As Bill says, a catch-light in the eye would have been nice - you should have asked him to move his head a little to the left!
Ingrid
Great close-up filling well the frame Kay!
Lovely close up Kay, lots of detail, shame about your lack of time or else the catchlight would have been a useful addition.
I love this shot very much! I love the tiny water droplets around the eyes. There should always be water somewhere in a photo of a duck!
Nice one, Kay! Love the processing!!
Sweet shot, Kay. A friend of mine has three of these...they can be quite nasty. They used to run after me. They now have a fenced in area, a huge pond and lots of land..a little paradise just for them.
Wonderful framing - got a real surprise whern I opened the page!!! Plus he's got his beady eye on me. Very unsettling, I like it!
HOW did you get so close to it?! or did you crop it
Great "portrait".. I really appreciate
The picture has a lot going for it, even the reflected light is a positive. The fact that the eye appears as an empty hole is actually the negative comment - you can photoshop some catchlight in
Lovely detail Kay
