Lovely shot in pink tones.
Kay: Thank you for stopping by Arash. I really appreciate your visit.
I thought from the thumbnail this was a fabric...it does look like silk. Lovely
Kay: Thank you, Bill. Nope, it was a flower. I made the image high key. This was originally a deep pink flower.
Aww, look at your hearts, Kay! This image, muted as it is, would make a great background for a collage! I can see it now.
Kay: Thanks, Ginnie! Rhodendrons do make great backgrounds, don't they!
Lovely soft muted pinks Kay, beautiful shot.
Kay: Thanks so much, Aussie.
So delicate Kay.Love the softness of this shot
Kay:
Kay, today's and yesterday's picture are a real treat to me, love the tones, I am very fond of flowers, this one has a great sun/shadow effect.
Kay: Glad you like it Astrid! I am in another type of mood these days. Images with a lot of light appeal to me for some reason. Perhaps it's that I'm in a wetter climate?
Superb shot. What a delicacy!
Kay: Merci tellement de votre commentaire aimable, Richard!
I apologize if my poorly translated English is not correct. I wanted to honor you in your native language, Richard! Babel fish, of course, provided that opportunity - for now.
Lovely composition, has such a beautiful tone and softness. Like how you filled the frame with this shot, very well done.
Kay: Thank you very much, John! I am happy that you like it. The flower was orig. deep pink. I lightened it a bit.
wow kay. nice work.
Kay: Wow, Heather. Thanks! Glad you approve! (And to think, you're only a few desks away from mine.
With this shot, this is how I interpret flowers to look like in heaven. Beautiful. Welcome back btw
Kay: Thank you, M'roy. What a very nice commment! Glad to be back too!
very very nice Kay
Kay: You are so nice, Tim. Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to your comments.
I really like the subtlety of the colour. As Bill said, it is silky.
Kay: Thank you, Michael.
Very simple but very different. It took me a second or two to realise what I was looking at.
Kay: I should have added a description to help people out, Alan. But I wanted to see the reaction it would get - and I did.
This is a rhododendron from the Chrystal Springs Rhododendron garden in Portland, Oregon. It was really a deep pink, but I tweaked it a bit. Thanks for your comment, and especially for stopping by, Alan!
I wish my pillows were made of this. such a soft feel to the shot. great work
Kay: Thank you for stopping by, Mick. I lightened the shot up alot - must have add to the softness.
Oooh, beauty. Delicate beauty.
Kay: Thank you, Ellie!
