Pretty! I like the red and pink contrast. Wish we'd get some rain here!
Kay: Thanks, Deb! Well, we have plenty of rain to send your way!! Coming from an area that is in a drought (Arizona), it's nice to have the rain and clouds, although I wish the sun would shine on the weekends so I could get some good shots in. smile

Doesn't it amaze you, Kay, that after a downpour the blossoms are still there! They can look so dainty and fragile but they are really stuck on!

We could use some of that rain here in Atlanta. We had a bit today but nothing close to replenishing our 7+-inch deficit for the year already.
Kay: Hi Ginnie, it seems that a few regions are in that situation, as I just commented to Deb. I hope Atlanta gets some rain soon! It will probably be a furious storm, since it's been a while for a good rain. Are you in Amsterdam yet, or on your way to? Take care.
After rain is one of the best times to take good shots and this is no exception.
Kay: Dotun, thank you. You are so right. Earlier in the day I was caught outside Powells bookstore in downtown Portland where the rain literally poured like buckets. I saw that clouds were about to break, and followed them to Washington Park, and they led me to this tree. It was nice.

This is beautiful smile The colours, darkened background and the slight glow on the blossoms tops it all of. Rainy days at the beginning of spring are worth taking a walk in (afterwards)
Kay: Hi Mia! Thanks so much smile I love to walk after a good rainstorm. The smells and sights are so refreshing, aren't they?
So very pretty. We just got some snow again today. Thankyou for giving me a breath of springtime with your photo.
Kay: Thank you so much for your comment smile I am happy to post some bit of spring here. Here I was thinking it was kind of cool outside, while Arizona has already hit the 90 degree mark. Can you imagine that?
