photoblog image Winter sports also include hiking

Winter sports also include hiking

For all snow fans on SC, and this includes Jose-Angel!

!  I didn't touch this photo other than the exposure control and the vignette.  No processing of colors, tints, blends on this picture.  (Unlike yesterday's shot).

Thank to all of you who commented on yesterday's picture.

This picture was taken in the low elevation of the Cascades where the snow was beginning to collect.  I didn't have chains or snow tires to go any further.  But at least I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

What a beautiful scene!
I like these photos that look black and white though they're in colour. It's so typical in this weather or even a grey rainy day and beautiful.

I like the way the light vignetting around the photo adds to the snowy scene.

It looks so beautiful! The minimal PP work enhances the image perfectly Kay. Great shot. smile

Kay, this is is just beautiful. I like the hiker in this photograph - it somehow makes the scene so `real` and accessible. (:o)

I love seeing snow shots because there is no hope of any in Queensland. This is beautiful and I agree with Ginnie it would make a terrific card.

Oh! Kay! Thank you very much by your memory! These in the certain thing, the strolls in the snow are wonderful... that yes, is necessary to take shelter. A charming image that remembers (by the bridge) some Japanese place!

This brings back memories of attempted hikes that ended when I sank up to my neck into the snow smile
