I will never tire flying over Oregon's coastline.  Looks like I'll be doing so again next Sunday!  I will be renting a lens especially for the occasion. :)  Let's hope the weather holds.

Interesting POV
Beautiful shot! Have you seen the books by Michael Collier? He has done a 4 book study on US geology, as seen by his aerial photography! He's an MD (my husbands doctor), a geologist, photographer and pilot. The books were meant to give the layman a more interesting way of learning geography!
