Nice tranquil scene Kay, the bost makes it, just the right size to give a sense of scale.
Kay: Thank you, Les!
how serene and beautiful. great reflections.
Kay: Thank you, Jen. It is very serene there. A favorite place for me to go to.

What an idyllic scene. Oh I simply love it.
Kay: Isn't it beautiful, Maria? I took pictures before here, on a cloudy and rainy day. Wanted to see what it looks like in the sunshine!

Very tranquil & nice Kay
Kay: Thank you, Chris!
Blilliant that splash of red, really makes this against all that green.
Kay: I didn't realize that until now, Chad. I was infatuated with the trees...!

The splash of red colour against all that green is a wonderful touch. I'll be interested to see how the b/w compares. Lovely reflections.
Ingrid
Kay: Hi Ingrid. The B&W version is very dramatic tho I did not selective color the vest red.
That's my place..somewhere quiet with water and a spot of fishing. Lovely scene Kay.
Kay: Thank you, Ron! smile

Kay this is wonderful love it
Kay: Glad you do,Vintage. Thanks!
I agree with Ingrid, that splash of red, in that spot in the composition, really lifts a good picture to a great one Kay. My son, a fishing addict, has just said he would like to fish here.
Kay: Hi Brian. Thank you for your comment. Tell your son that the lake is called "Battleground Lake" in Southern Washington. It is rain-fed, filled with fish probably spawned in hatcheries around the Columbia River.

Wonderful and green. The bright colours in the boat really jump out.
Kay: Thank you, Mary!

This has such a pristine feel to it, Kay, like what I remember of Canada when I was a girl and was in the wilderness. It feels so pure, so untouched or unravaged by humans! I'm ready for the cool weather of autumn, to be honest...my favorite time of the year!
Kay: Hi Ginnie, there are a lot of remote areas around Washington state, and even in Oregon. And I agree with you...I am so ready for the cool weather. It's in the mid-50's here, and we just had a downpour.
fabulous Kaysmile

I wonder if they caught anything. If they're anything like me...they did not.
Kay: I did see a fishing pole dance in the air...but you're right. It was pretty quiet when I was there.
Excellent composition love the red! It will be interesting to compare the B&W
Kay: The B&W totally sets a different mood, Bill. It will post in a few hours. smile
Thank you.

Such wide space, it's enchanting.
Kay: Hello Ellie, I love this lake. The trees really captivate me. Going to miss them when/if I move out of the area.
The reflections are superb. What a serene and peaceful place!
Kay: It is a beautiful spot, Richard. I totally love the atmosphere.
The green of the trees is somehow washed out. So the B/W version is better.

Personally I would restore the green of the trees, then I definitely would prefer this one.
