photoblog image fog on the beach

fog on the beach

On my day trip to Cape Meares, it seemed like the fog was hugging the beach. I want to thank you for your commments yesterday and today. I've been busy with work, and such. Will reply very soon.

Looks like no more heat wave. Oh I love fog.
Kay: It's really nice to see when Portland's undergoing a heat wave. smile
Thank you, Marie.
Makes for a great atmospheric shot Kay
Kay: Thank you, Bill. That's why I love the fog on the coast. Very atmospheric and moody!

lovely fading shot, kay. I also love fog. Nice touch to include the people among the rock and sand to give it scale.
Kay: Alex, to be honest, I did not see them until you pointed them out to me ;-)
Thank you!

What an absolutely stunning picture Kay.

Love the atmosphere, the colours, everything.
Kay: Thank you so much, Ellie! I will be posting more of these kind of shots in the next week. One in particular is my favorite, and it won't get posted until the 17th.
I'm so glad you like this shot, and thank you for the likey. I'm extremely honored and grateful!
Very nice color and atmosphere. Looks like a good candidate for b&w as well.
Kay: Yes, It did turn out really nice in B&W. Wasn't sure which to post. smile
I'll post the B&W later on. Thank you so much for your visit.

The colors are so different here, separate, yet diffusing and blending in with such simplicity it sure promises to take your breath away in real life.
Kay: Hi Mia, it's quite beautiful when the sun tries to cut through the fog. The landscape lights up in different places. I admit to helping it just a little bit!

Beautiful shot Kay smile
Kay: Thank you very much, Julian! Puts a smile on my face ;-)
I like how the colour grdually changes.
Kay: That was the sun's influence, Nigel. It was trying to break through here and there, but it was barely casting a shadow.

Love this photo great colours and fog make the scene have feeling of whats realy there
Kay: Thank you, Vintage. I like warm shots. Cool shots don't appeal to me very often, but I guess it depends on what the subject matter is, and my mood that day.
Beautiful foggy shot Kay.
Kay: Thank you so much, Bernie! smile
