Great capture Kay,but i find the buildings ugly, high priced or not.Would be glad to escape this and trade it any day for a place on the boat in your previous posting the super shot "early morning fishing Tillamook"
Kay: Totally understand, Graham! With that in mind, I posted a "forest" picture today.
Very nicely converted! I like the light.
Kay: Richard, thank you. I appreciate your comment!

Kay: Rob, Thank you!
Very good image Kay and I must admit to likeing the earlier colour version as well.
Kay: Hi Brian, thank you for your comment. The color was softer, wasn't it?

Both images have merit, Kay, but the colour has the edge for me. I wish I was over there right now.
Kay: Thank you, Alan! This is the nice time of year too.

Excellent constrasts and tones, Kay. Looking at such pictures usually makes my heart sink... too many buildings, too much urbanization. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it, but in my mind, concrete is mundane and disheartening to look at, as compared to say, a mountain, or a lake. smile Either way, this is a great picture and more abstract-y.
Kay: Mia, I understand what you mean. My spirit sings with nature, but not so much with buildings and concrete canyons. I like the patterns these buildings offer, but nature's patterns are often more complex and intricate!
I like the colour version more as some of the areas in this one become too dark for my liking. But it's just my appreciation
Kay: Albert, thank you for your feedback. smile

wow, wonderful light and lines...favorite image today
Kay: I'm honored, Tony. Thank you!
Very well done Kay. Buildings plus sky are often tough but this one works very well. Love the detail in the foreground building especially. Processing also perfect.
