photoblog image Remember Winter?

Remember Winter?

It seems so long ago.

I'm going through a ton of archived photos and I saw some of my Winter 2008-09 pics.  Since Texas has been undergoing a heatwave, I thought it would only be kind to post a chilly picture to help cool the masses down.

Additionally, way up here in the Pacific Northwest, we're going to hit 88 degrees Fahrenheit.  A week ago, it was 96 degrees.  I do better in the high 60's.

Have a wonderful weekend, and chill out!

It's winter here in Queensland but we never see snow in Brisbane. Beautiful image Kay

You have just made me go all cold Kay. The weather is a modest 20 degrees today.
Love the shot thoughsmile
Have a good weekend.
Kay: Hi Tracy, thank you! I hope the temps warm up for you, and that your weekend is going well.
Lovely shot Kay but hopefully we won't see much of this for a few months yet.
Kay: Hi Brian. I know what you mean. Careful for what we wish for, right?

Cool picture smile

I never could relate to Fahrenheit. It takes me an age to work out if a temp would be cold or warm smile By the time I arrive at the answer it is not relevant anymore.

As you would know, we have winter right now. In the early morning it goes under 0 Celcius. Three of my children just returned from Mozambique our neighbouring country - they had a seaside holiday there and claim it never went below 19 Celcius. Some different winter, one country away.
Kay: Wow, what a difference in temps. Well,I hope your weekend is going well, and that it's warming up for you, Louis. All my best to you and to your family,
Kay

Charming Kay. You think the trees are white - until you look at the snow!

Brrrrrrr. Glad we have a ways to go before this is the everyday scene. I like the contrast between the "white" tree bark and snow.

Your ideal temperature is about mine, too, Kay! I like the silver bark against the white of the snow and the footsteps(?) through the snow.
