You saw some birds I hope Kay?
Kay: Nope. Only dogs. This wildlife observatory faces the beach. Dogs were the only wild animals I saw that day...no birds. smile

Have a good weekend, like the processing
Aussie has said it.
I am with Aussie here! Have a great weekend Kay.
I have always liked the treatment that you apply to your photos. I believe that we could call it the Kay's style

Your treatment makes it look kind of mysterious. I like the way the picture format mimics the effect of looking out of a bird hide!
Ingrid
nice ruffled look. Sepia makes it work.
Cheers
Rob
Love the sepia and the crop. It really give the feel of being inside a hide.

Interesting treatment, I like it.

I thought for a moment it was WW2 "Pillbox", but of course you don't have those in the States.

Good dediting, Kay.. I like the mood you've created. Sorry to hear that there was no birds around.

Wild dogs? Oh well everything can happen - even some birds may come along.

PS. I have once done a very similar conversion and found that with good layering more of the detail in the dark patches can be made visible via dodging. So if you are interested let me know.
