photoblog image and now for something completely different

and now for something completely different

I was playing with the saturation tool, reversing the light in Photoshop.  I have no idea how this happened but I liked it.

Life has gotten busy, but I still manage to post once in a while.  I miss my friends here at SC!

I like the light illuminating the veins in the leaf - it doesn' look overprocessed at all. Sometimes it's difficult to keep up - it is a very time-consuming pasttime. I have been sat here at my computer for over an hour now, instead of doing all the things I should be doing!

Kay: Ingrid,
I laughed when I read your post. You understand me so well. SC gets addictive.

Wish you could remember Kay, then we could learn...

Very nice.

I cheat and post once a week, so I can just check other sites when I can.
Kay: Hi Brian, I think I'm going to have to go that route. It's hard to get caught up. smile Thank you.
This is fantastic. I don't have photoshop but those results make me want it.
Kay: Lightroom is really good too, Mary. It's designed especially for photographers. Adobe.com has a trial version you can download and try out.

This is beautiful Kay, I love the way you have processed it. I never dreamt that when I started this blog just a few months ago that it would be like this, I have to set myself time limits now LOL....especially at work!!
Kay: Thank you, Padraig! I know what you mean about time limits! smile It's hard to stop once you get started!
Awesome awesome capture Kay
Kay: Thank you, S/S!

Beautiful! This makes for a very different look and it's really, really a good one!

And I enjoy looking at your work, regardless of if it is daily, weekly or monthly! Take care Kay.

The signs of processing is in the blue background. A tighter crop would cut most out and make it less obvious. Not saying it is bad, just looking at improvement.

The detail in the leaf is great. I have mastered the Kay before and now I think I should try the new Kay
Whatever you have done Kay it has ended up with a nice gentle result.
